libmarkdown2 software package provides implementation of the Markdown markup language in C (library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmarkdown2
libmarkdown2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmarkdown2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmarkdown2 *
You will get with libmarkdown2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
